An FPE alum, Jessica Hubert (BS ‘06) after having to resign her position in a fire protection engineering position due to family concerns, was recently involved in a serious accident. The accident has left Jesse paralyzed below the waist. Even with almost a month of recovery in the hospital, she will be in a wheelchair for the near future, perhaps forever. Due to the resignation of her position, Jesse is without health insurance. She is a single mom with a 3 year old child. She needs assistance with medical expenses, rehabilitation costs and to retrofit their home for handicapped and wheelchair accessibility. All donations will be used for Jesse.
