The Alumni Club will be using part of the dues to fund a FPE Department teaching assistant (TA) position annually. Along with the funding from the dues, donations would be appreciated to support this initiative. We believe as the number of members increase, the funding from the dues and the generosity of the Alumni will enable us to support a second position.
The TA position is invaluable to the department professors and adjunct faculty, lending support grading homework, exams, and projects. This allows professors and adjuncts more time for to prepare class work and research. We are so glad you are a part of the Alumni Club and appreciate your support to reach this goal.
This is an important initiative that will contribute to the to the Department for years to come.
Let’s show Dr. Milke that ‘we have his back’ and demonstrate to Dean Pines the unique strength of the new FPE Alumni Club by fully funding a Teaching Assistant position on an ongoing basis.
